ooh good call! I reparied one side by making replacements from sheet but buying them sounds much simpler … doh! never thought of that
Following up on this – I realised that most of the visits to the site are mostly to the forums… and so basically the adverts weren’t really doing anything… I’m testign some placements at the moment just to see what works… any major objections please shout
I just edited the post title – personalyl I’m nto against pictures, and if anywhere then the members cars pages ought to be where they are but I think it’s fair to give due warnign to dial up users

I don’t know to what degree but the blurb on the google adsense site seems to think so. They do keep mentioning that you can pick relevant ads (and also exclude others – e.g. competitors) so I’d have to say – for the money, yes.
I think we’d be either looking at a single std banner size at the top or a strip down the right – I’m not sure what’s allowed by google.
ace… got me ball-joint separator now and having seen how quick the brakes on my 16v gti fade I think the 280s will need to go on the syncro asap!
umm I did a similar search and got a bunch of topics in the main bit of the page (i.e. all the topics which included the search phrase) and the numbers I had at the top were because there was more than one page of results… I hope that’s what u meant

The lifted golf you mention is a “Golf Country” – there’s a bunch of pics of them in the photos section and I think the differences & special parts etc have been covered in the forums a few times but that should be the search term you’re after look forward to seeing what you do to these syncros
*although* – look at the rubber seal on the test coolant flange..no sign of serious issues there…

I had marangonis on mine for the last 2 years – was quite impressed with grip and they last forever. I couldn’t wear them out – every time I got close they replaced them for free cos they had lifetime guarantee!
