woudn’t phpBB be a better option for the forum?
HouseyParticipantthe rotisserie is home made. i’m just borrowing it 🙂
i’ll buy a factory one next time i’ll do something like this, its nice having a rotisserie, but the one i’m using is hard to use, and its not movable. and is a bit cock-eyed in almost every direction.
yeah. starting to get somewhere now. and hopefully i’l be able to prime to underside soon.
when i’m done with that i’ll make some sort of frame to mount the car on. then i’ll tackle the big pieces. need to make a sturdy frame for that 🙂 don’t want the body to bend a flex.all OEM parts.
(replacing both sides)
HouseyParticipantshedloads of more work ahead.
especially since i’m replacing both rear sides and rear plate (valance?)

HouseyParticipantsoo.. 10months and 3weeks the forums says… thats the last there was any activity in this thread.. oh well.
not much has happend in these 10months (not visible anyhow, but a few things has happend).
i’be removed all of the undercoating. i’ve replaced both floorpans. fixed the front jackingpoints (and rear jackingpoint). and a shedload of other small things that had to be done 🙂
its kinda demotivating looking at these pictures. it looks like nothing has happend 🙁
HouseyParticipantare these the same?
the rallye one appears to have its own oil. and the non rallye one looks to share the oil with the rest of the gearbox.
dont know if those are compatible. i know for a fact that the one on the left would run dry as hell with no oil in it 🙂
HouseyParticipantit should be yes
HouseyParticipanthmm. don’t think i like this forumsoftware.
it does not seem that there is any PM solution here?
HouseyParticipantcould be usefull to have the ISV “relay” connected
i there is about 8 years since i last had anything to do with a K-Jet system. so i’m a bit rusty 🙂
HouseyParticipantyou should have no problem running and 02C grearbox wihtout any prop-shaft or rear diff connected
so go right ahead and have fun
HouseyParticipantThe ECU on the CIS/K-JET controls the ignitin timing and thats it. its using the internal MAP Sensor to adjust the timing. a bit more controlable then a vacuum advanced distributor.
the ISV has its own “ECU” a “relay” looking box with the numbers 244on it. and this controls the ISV and is activated with the idle swith on the throttlebody
the car will run when the vacuum disconnected on the ecu, but it won’t be any good as the timing will be static (more or less)
HouseyParticipanta bit rusty, but they are pretty thick and should clean up good
HouseyParticipantgood luck
i bought some on ebay for a premium price here a few weeks ago. used and rusty. but intact and usable for £27. and another £22 in shipping
i don’t know if there are any alternatives
