Participantyes. but i have no way of including a person in the “to” form at all.
i tried entering a nick, but all it did was open the vwsyncro website in a small preview window

Participanti think i’ve figured it out.
the part i have cannot be OEM. the 3 support brackets that goes from the top and down to the floor looks different, and joins the plate a bit further down.
this is totaly fine if you have FWD with 20cm lower boot floor.
so i need to make some modifications, but i should make it work

Participantthink i’ve figured it out..
the forum says that max file size per image is 10mb…
however. it seems to be all images in one posting.
i added about 8 pics @ 7mb each…. probably didn’t like that

Participantso. i built myself a movable frame that is rugged AF to make the body more stable when removing the side panels etc.
found some 50x50x5mm box section thrown away in a dumpster and used that (way overkill, but it was free, and galvanized. so it took 10times longer to make as i had to grind away the zink before welding) (and yes, i used the appropriate respirator mask for welding galvanized steel. i’ve had metalfever a few times before. and it sucks hard)
when that was done. i started on the sills. and hopefully i’ll make them look as good as new again
pics of said frame: (the steel weighs 6.1kg pr metere. and there are 13,5meters of it. so the frame weighs about 82kg)
right sill
