    thats why i’m bying the car. the body is in terrible condition. it did not pass inspection due to rust on the shock towers.

    and i’m hoping to salvage a few body parts which i need on my own syncro

    i’m not removing anything yet. i’m simply out to find out how much its worth. if the parts isn’t worth anything, i won’t bother using the time to cut it out.

    what kills the deal for most ppl would be the shipping price from norway and across the border :)

    its atleast 2 weeks until i get the car :) its still under a shedload of snow

    there are none. but i’ve managed to get a hold of a pair through a friend.

    premium price tho. but the price is what it is :)

    thanks though. but if you can find them. buy them and store them. these parts gets a lot of abuse

    hei.

    det letteste når man bygger om til haldex er å kjøre med plus-understell (wide-track) fra Golf 3.

    man får kjøpt ferdige drivaksler både forran og bak slik at dette for det meste blir plug’n’play.

    når det kommer til haldex så kan du godt bruke det som kommer på Golf MK4 2.8 syncroher/4-motion

    om du ikke ønsker å gå for haldex. så kan du gjøre som du sier, bruke understellet fra Golf mk3 syncro. sammen med vr6 syncro girkasse og bakdiff.
    man får også haldex med 02C girkasse, men da har man ikke fordelen ved at man har en sterkere girkasse :)

    Husk at du også trenger en haldex kontroller for å kontrollere haldex. disse er dyre

    yes. but the golf as one relay, and the passat has two.

    i don’t know. havn’t investigated it to be honest :)

    its part passat, part golf this thing you know :)
