yes, vinegar is acetic acid
is that that effect, like leaving a penny in coca cola?
I don’t know but as you can see it works,
on the “new” exhaust I just washed it off with fresh water,
dried it with a hot air gun & painted it with HT exhaust paint,
here is is 1 month or so laterAttachments:
ok here we go, just removed from the vinegar &, washed of & hung up to dry, I promise you it was worth waiting for!

I have de rusted a scooter silencer with cleaning vinegar
I just left it to soak for 24 hours & it came out like new
photos of the old silencer before I set this to soak in the vinegar,

Yes they have both gone, collected & shipped out.
In the nearly 20 years we have been online, I wonder how many people we have helped & how many cars we have saved?
it must be well into the hundreds for both cars & people & yes it has been great fun. 🙂One thing I will never forget, is the big smile I had on my face every time I went out in my Syncro GT!
