ModeratorIt has a 505cc twin cylinder lombardini diesel fitted & it only weight 350 kilos
as std it has adequate rather than earth shattering performance but I can drive it on a moped license
it does drive suprisingly well I am quite pleased with it.Chris S
ModeratorAs my Golf Syncro replacement – I have bought myself nice a red 2 seater!
it is not what you might think, though at least I am mobile again
due to my health, my driving license has been degraded to a cat AM
so what I am now allowed to drive is a called a moped car
max power 5kw, max weight 350 kilos, max speed 45kmph yes maximum speed allowed 45kmph (just less than 30mph)
A bit more info on moped cars here here, do they even exist in the UK?

Schoonmaak azijn means cleaning vinegar
I
Chris S
ModeratorBut at 1 euro 50 cents for 5 liters, it is a very cheap de rusting solution
Chris S
ModeratorI don’t know, but I don’t think I would like to paint over a vinegar residue, it might affect the stickability of the paint
Chris S
ModeratorOn the grille you’ll notice there’s no zipties holding it on too 😉
(well I mean obviously there are but they’re hidden better 😉 )
Love it!

ModeratorConsidering that it was a rusty old thing that had been lying in my shed for the last 10 years,
I don’t think it came out to badly.
I think the ‘pits’ in the other exhaust are where there was deep ‘pitted’ corrosionChris S
Moderatoryes, vinegar is acetic acid
is that that effect, like leaving a penny in coca cola?
I don’t know but as you can see it works,
on the “new” exhaust I just washed it off with fresh water,
dried it with a hot air gun & painted it with HT exhaust paint,
here is is 1 month or so laterAttachments:
Chris S
Moderatorlooks almost as good as the first exhaust & that was with ‘new’ vinegar
