and this no1 transfer box, you can see the difference how much the larger bracket gave the transfer box a bit more of a chance[:I]

yes i did have the air con in it and i had oz turbo`s on it with a jabbasport charger chip and a piper cam straight though exhaust, i did originally buy it to do a 20vrotrex then changed it to 20v turbo IHI but sold to a mate to fund another cheaper syncro with a IHI, then he sold it to another mate then i bought it back of him because needed the money to live in holland, knowing the car and the people had owned it, then i sold it to someone in peterborough then i know he sold it on ,after that i believe it was converted to 20vt, so it was a while before it got converted in the UK

going to try 02m in the mk1, rebuild one with a nice clutch, everything about the 02m is bigger looks stronger, but again still has the same weak points, as everything stronger and larger around it it should last longer

unfortunately mate its not going to work, the gearset fits loverly (after a few bearing swaps)but the teeth sit offset and don`t link properly and clunk when turned, the output to the prop is the problem it sits about 20mm lower on haldex TB than syncro TB apart making a complete new casing or finding a vw motorsport one and changing all the internals again not worth the hassle, so a 6mm plate bracket off the block all the way around a new TB should hopefully cure the problem and not the pathetic Alloy bracket from VW

    the skoda VRS is a 6spd 02m 2wd, is this a rallye/ g60 syncro set up ??
be careful its not just any old 5spd haldex , cos they do 02m in them too, the other is you can`t bolt the haldex transfer box to your syncro box either it doesn`t have a bolt in diff ie. you don`t have a bolt go through the cv flange in the transfer box that bolt`s to the diff,
