haldex rear diff question

I am doing a haldex conversion on my mk2 syncro

Can anyone tell me if i don’t have a controller for the rear diff plugged in what will the rear diff do if i try to move the car.

I first of all want to tow the car with the diff in place, and 2nd want to put a low power engine in but still not have a controller for it

just want to know if it will be ok to do as i have described and what the diff will do. hopefully it will just free wheel at the back.

i`ve towed mine plenty of times, with the 4 wheels on the ground though, still ok

any idea what would happen running the car with out a controller?

i drive it around in 2wd most of the time only switch the 4wd only for qtr mileing or on mapping sessions or for the rolling road

So if you don’t have a controller the diff is off and will just run as 2wd?
