ModeratorWhat do you need? as lhd parts are more available over here than in the UK

ModeratorDue to the design of the Syncro rear suspension, you will get excessive neggy camber when you lower it to much,
this may help.

ModeratorLooking at the drawing again I think that part nr 17 should do the same job on the original cam cover.

ModeratorI had a supersprint backbox fitted to my original Syncro, it fitted ok but was a bit to noisy for me.
It did make a nice growly sound though. [

ModeratorYes but I didnt know which front exhaust you were using, as both will fit the G60 head
So the first 4 will fit but you need a Rallye Golf underfloor fuel pump set up, or an in tank pressure pump!
the appropiate heatshields would probably be a good idea as wellhttp://www.ebay.de/itm/Rallye-Golf-GTI-G60-syncro-Mittelschalldampfer-/320903794269
btw I have a rear diff here if you would like me to see if the drive flanges are grooved?
the diff gears are missing a couple of teeth so you can have just the flanges if you like?Chris S

True, for the others you need the Passat Syncro Manifold, Downpipe & Cat, did you not save them off the Passat you bought?
Chris S
ModeratorI think that possibly the ring is part of the bushing!
Chris S
ModeratorThat should work on the oil seals
here are some exhaust systems

or a std set, which probably isn’t as restrictive as you think it is

ModeratorKev, Are they front or rear shokkers?
Chris S
ModeratorHaving finally seen what system you have I would suggest that you have a look at part nr 9 (pressure relief valve) this may help to solve your problem
Chris S
ModeratorWhat ARB i have to use with a mk2 rear axle with mk3 wide track trailing arms?
The same as you have now, or even better a Passat/Rallye one.
is the CV joint in the rear hub the same between vr6 syncro and mk2 syncro?
the VR6 Syncro has 5 stud hubs, I swapped them out for G2 4 stud ones
Chris S
ModeratorIs the mounting point of the rear shocks in the same place on the arm between mk2 and mk3 wide track arms?
Yes it is
Chris S
ModeratorOnly the GOLF 3 VR6 is widetrack, the Golf 3 1.8 Syncro trailing arms don’t even have the mounting lugs for the disc brake caliper carriers.
The Passat G60 & 2.0l Syncro has a rear track of 1420mm, while the Golf 3 VR6 is 1481 wide at the back!
