As it has the same part number, then yes its the same part – P/N 357 511 409D – that was fitted to the 1990/1993 Passat G60 Syncro.
The VR6 Syncro has the std (thinner) rear bar
Sometimes they are available on ebay.de
Do you know the vin number of the car your rear axle is from?
I ask cos there are 2 different upper mountings listed & also 2 options for the rubber bushes, 1 for each upper mounting
If your VR6 donor car was made before about the middle of Nov 94(up to vin nr 1H-S-221035)then the rubber bushes are the same as the G60 Golf ones, as are the through bolts @ 78mm long,
later than this there are different part numbers for everything + the through bolts are 4mm longer sugesting an increase in depth of the same amount.
While the early VR6 brackets have a different part nr to the G60 ones, it would suggest that as the through bolts & the rubber bushes are the same parts then the G60 brackets would also be a match,
the part number for the early VR6/G60 rubber bushes is 331 505 171 & for the later (thicker?) VR6 bushes is 357 505 171Yes, I found it only yesterday, been a bit distracted the last few weeks with 1 thing & another, I will get it packed up this week end.
Does anyone have an electrical chart for the 02C reverse system?
