Yes but the ABA engines have a crossflow head!
I will have one of the ABA heads (well actually 5 of them) here from America shortly, they are the first choice head for making a tuned 8v G60 motor,As to if its possible to mod a 16v block you could look here.

At the top sounds good to me, but I think that every on site for sale ad should incur a charge of lets say 5 pounds, or 7.50 EU or the same 7.50 in USD this would surely fund the site, some other sites have a (paid for) PREMIUM membership which entitles the member to buy stuff at a discount from the sites preferred suppliers, is that for us? I dont know but it seems to be a bit elitist to me! but if thats what is agreed then ok!

Yes, as you have to get the job up to temperature and the oil seals etc wont stand up to the temp required to weld the casting.
