    Probably, yes.

I have a pair of complete shift assemblies, both done under 100,000miles. Let me know if you want them.

In this case definitely yes (I just heard back from the dealer) [:(]

By the time you have replaced the drums & shoes & springs etc you may just have well have converted the rear to disc brakes, it would probably be cheaper as well!

No they are larger than the 2WD Golf rear brake drums.

Diamond hell and Dannyp will both have one, as they have just swapped their gearboxes to cable change 02C ones.

BTW the part was dropped without replacement by VW on 01/12/2007. [:(]

See if you can find somewhere that has G4 shokkers on the shelf & measure them up against your Syncro ones before you buy them, as I havn’t tried this personally but rather have been informed they are a match.

Go with MK3 VR6 Syncro Struts for the front, & yes the rear struts are shorter than the 2WD versions, the Golf4 2wd rear shokkers appear to fit & should be damped about the same as the std G2 Syncro ones.

As the car has only 125,000 kilometers on the speedo the carpet is in exellent condition for its age.

From comparing the carpets on the 2WD Golfs at the local scrapyard, I would say the carpet will fit a 4 door without any problems, the grey carpet I am getting from Danny is also from a 4 door.

Yes thats correct the G2 Syncro has the same High tunnel as the 2WD G2 G60.

I have a black Carpet fitted atm but would prefer a grey one for obvious reasons, I think I may have a grey set coming from Dannyp shortly. so there will be a full set of black carpets available then.

We are going to set it up on Saturday morning before we go to the racetrack.

As we did, Short video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7LfXkOVOYg [;)]

As you can see the conditions were not all that good with a damp track, it was actually raining when we arrived there [:(]
