    what i would suggest then is to speak to matt at dubunit whop was my right hand man in the original project and he will sort a deal i am sure …the gearbox would pay a massive part of putting a std 20vt back in the car

    depends what you mean by running a straight 20vt complete is the easiest way….but you could just put a turbo on the engine in the car …either way its not cheap ..but owning such a rare car never is …i cant reply with a price really as it all depends if you want 400 bhp as i had or 280 !!!!!

    sorry …dale..all i will say is if you take out the 20vt stuff and r32 it it will be a hell of a car …and the gbox will pay for most of your conversion,,as its worth 3k ..and alot of people are chasing me to split the car for the box..if you go r32 the box is of no use to you any way…so buy the car sell the box and engine componets and treat ya self to the r32 syncro 3 dr rhd ya always wanted….

    converted to rhd by jody at midland vw( very well done dont think there are any more done yet )

    bonded winscreen ( as all genuine g60 4wd cars …rallyes etc)

    early agu 1.9 bored bottom end( only 3k ago )

    rite that gives a better pic of the car spec i think and justifies the respective askin price

    well things are getting back on track …crimbo kids etc …ate all my funds but nows my season to be happy …..found some one to recon my rods and oredered a single piston from weisco….here we go again ..ha ha ha

    further investigation !!!!!!!!!!! snapped a gudgion pin flared a piston out all 3 other gudgion pins starting to wear….and the rod bushes squashing……****e oil and xs heat with a little detonation ….= more bills and heart ache …any one got a 2.0 diesel turbo bottom end for sale ….i got a plan …

    well got the feckin spanners out again ….head is off pistons rods on the bench………only took one little end thank the boost lords…so time to buy a supertech valve train and flo the head fora bit more you know what…..

    done turbo …ran it up guess what ….piston bearing gone too what a treat,…….me n this car is ever meant to be….??

    i am running a gt3071r with a 3″ outlet so kept it 3″ straight back pain in the ass to get between the floor and rack

    2.5 will be fine

    to be honest i tried mild first but the use of different steels caused different expansion rates and caused poor sealing and cracking ,its best to go straight to stainless and its easier to fabricate….
