You need a Golf 2 brake servo bracket for cable clutch P/N 191 612 209 this bracket was also fitted to the 1988 to 92 Passat
or P/N 357 612 209A for a hydraulic clutch.
35 euros + postage @ 34,20 euros & paypal costs on 69 euros +- 5 eu, lets call it 75 euros in total.

the EDL is not needed at all, so, the golf harness does not have this plug, but the abs unit would operate as it should anyways? shouldnt it?
It will work as it uses the same connections as the non EDL master cylinder, of course the EDL side of things wont work as it is no longer connected [
]BTW, you can adapt the GTI one to fit, just by lengthening the pick up pipe to the pump

yes, its from the Passat Syncro with the self levelling rear suspension, I am not sure what years it was made though.
