When you consider that VW considered that your 239mm rear discs were big enough when they fitted them as front brakes on the early Golf 2 GTI
do you really want or need 280mm rear brakes?
Also it will upset your brake balance unless you are fitting larger front discs as well [

As standard the 90 & 98 bhp Golf 2 Syncro has the 18.5mm diameter rear arb,
you already have the 20mm Diameter Passat/Rallye Syncro rear bar, or do you mean the Passat Syncro self levelling suspension 25mm one?As you alter the camber you alter the toe in(very)slightly, so it does make more sense to do both bushes and have it fully adjustable.

To all who want to rebuild your G60 Syncro to 16v,
you this need together with a Y-pipe exhaust manifold from a Scirocco 16v, then you have a problem with the manifold and down pipe solved.I was going to use this myself! But due to time constraints I do not come to do the rebuild.

]Well the 2 metal halves of the rear diff hanger are available (for the moment) at VW classic parts at a cost of 100 eu + postage,
while the centre rubber bush is available from VW at a cost of 75 euros, so I think I would keep it as a spare.
