Actually there were no Official VW Golf 3 Syncro UK imports, so the Golf 3 spares are a bit scarcer than the Golf 2 syncro however the 3 Syncro parts are mostly compatable with the Golf 2 Syncro, and also the Passat 35i Syncro parts are mostly the same as well, so you can get most things.
Yes can do no problems, I also have a German shipping adress set up in case the sellers wont ship outside of Germany.

]As for converting a normal Syncro to a Country, please forget it and just buy one, VW didnt just jack up the suspension you know, there is so much work involved which includes fitting a full length ladder type chassis frame between the body & the front & rear subframes,

And to be honest I dont find it upsetting or annoying, its more just a little disapointing.Yes there is a different reversing light switch on the gearbox also an extra relay & wiring in the harness to control the rear diff.
Yes, it was the ultimate Golf 2 road car but now modified & no longer an original G60 Syncro, but there is nowhere in the ebay advert/auction that it states that it is lerft hand drive, which it so obviously is.
Where is the insurance policy held, England or Germany or somewhere inbetween? & on what numbers? registration, vin, or what?
Hi Encro, Does your car have a carburettor or fuel injection? in any case it is a parralel double box system, the carb version had a silencer box(es) while the injection version had a double cat, if you are not sure which you have just e-mail me an underbonnet photo.
Q)Which is the most robust of the set ups,
A) Torsten is the strongest, but out of what will relatively easily fit, Haldex is stronger than the original Syncro set up
