atm I have him looking into the possibility of making something similar to adapt the rod change mech to shift a cable change box, something similar to this but for a Golf 2 (Syncro)
Just out of interest, I know of at least 1 Rallye with the 68mm bearings, while my first G2 Syncro (a 1988 90bhp Carb version) had the 72mm ones.
The only difference is the size of the bearing, the disc brake assembly will bolt directly on.
