You should have this set up? the non return valve number 4 is connected to the inlet manifold and basically it controls the drive to the rear wheels

That is normal as the front wheel drive is taken (as is the 2WD) through the planetary gears in the crown wheel/pinion differential while the drive for the rear wheels is taken directly from the crown wheel carrier, this link will explain it.

]Basically its only the 02C bellhousing thats different to fit the transfer box instead of an oil seal & drive flange for the 2WD set up
