ModeratorThe 02C (cable change) diff will not fit the 020 (rod change) gearbox but the 8v GTI diff will fit.
However it is not worth doing all the work to change the diff as the 020 box wont last very long with a G60 motor in front of it,
Ideally you need an 02C box.http://cgi.ebay.de/Rallye-Golf-G60-Getriebe-ASU-16v-VR6-Turbo-Syncro_W0QQitemZ330371096449

ModeratorYes it can cause flooding.
You need to check and reset the float hight if its too high
Chris S
ModeratorIt looks like it might possibly go from the relay to the dashboard warning lights, but the wiring diagram is so small I cant make it out properly, I will scan it later & e-mail it to you.

ModeratorIn the Carb float chamber, it controls the fuel hight in the carb
Chris S
ModeratorThe fuel (pipe) enters the fuel pump then goes to the swirl pot (mounted on the engine top front) and then from there to the carb.
I wonder could your float needle be sticking open?
Just a thought, you did block the injector holes in the PB head didn’t you? [
]Chris S
ModeratorIt sounds like you are overfuelling, but that shouldnt be possible you did leave the swirl pot & the fuel return to tank line in place didn’t you?
Or possibly either (or both) your cam (valve) or ignition timing is out.
Just out out interest how wild is the new camshaft?
This may help

ModeratorIts ok, it just makes your pedal feel sharper (less travel)
Chris S
ModeratorThats absolutely correct, the 16V brake master cylinder is a direct swap on either left or right hand drive, it has a greater internal diameter to push the extra fluid needed for the bigger front & rear calipers.
btw, If you have ABS then a Passat pump will do the same job.

ModeratorThere was 3 door Golf G60 Syncro for sale here in Holland last week, the owner reckoned that there were only 170 made, whether that was 170 in total or just the 3 door is anybodys guess.

] btw how do the new front stoppers work?
I remember dannyp telling me that after he fitted the same 280mm discs he locked up his front wheels (RHD no ABS) at 100mph(160kph) and flat spotted his brand new tyres, oops [

ModeratorThe front ABS senders have a built in resistor while the rears dont, I dont know exactly what difference this makes to the output if any!
The rears depend on your swing arm part number but
Marke OE- Nummer
Seat 191 927 807 D
VAG 191 927 807 D
357 927 807
Will not fitDepending on your rear triangle nr you need either
191 927 807 or C
357 927 807A or BThese may fit, but I don’t know

Yes I know but for this the type 020 is the same.2) the trans will spin the out shaft of the transfer case with out an issue but the pinion gear shaft in the transfer case and the out put shaft have no direct engagement.
They don`t and are not supposed to have.3) The out put shaft and the pinion gear shaft can turn freely from each other.
They are supposed to.4) So what i was wondering if the ring in my picture I took.
please can you take a better picture as is is too blurred to see if you have a Muff fitted.5) The parts I am missing lock the two shafts together so that when the output shaft spin the pinion gear shaft spins as well.
no the `missing“ parts dont lock anything together, what they do is basically stop the drive flange rattling about on the shaft & provide a limited & crude form of diff lock, similar to this -
