    haha i know it wont be that simple but hopefully have everything to do the job. Well chris im not as far away as you may think, im only 20 minutes from north shields ferry terminal which has regular crossings to amsterdam!!:0

    Thanks chris, i thought as much that i would have everything to create one car. All the spare parts will be up for sale at some point sooner rather than later. The mk3 shell is in very good condition and never been jacked on the sill! Also has clima control so a good spec car!! If your interested in anything let me know!

    Hi olly, dont really want to split at the moment unless theres suffcient interest.
    Heres a list of parts if theres any mistakes please correct me
    Rallye gearbox code in picture above
    rallye transferbox
    propshaft
    front driveshafts
    rear driveshafts
    rear wiring loom
    Powdercoated transfer box bracket
    powdercoated gearbox bracket.
    Ill price things if theres suffcient interest and some pics

    hi there, i managed to pick up a full rallye running gear box, prop, all driveshafts and rear diff, Iv also picked up a 20vt lump, The thing im stuck on is which pedal box to use? can i use my current pedal box or does anyone know wether i need to convert to hydalic? thanks if anyone can help!! ben

    cheers chris, I had considered a gearbox rebuild to give some peace of mind. I guess it all depends on price aswell, as its already been removed from the car. Iv got some other options so will see how they develope. thanks again

    I think it might have done but, better to be safe than sorry. Just bought some porshe tombstones with rear bench for it!!

    hi there chris thanks for the reply and warm welcome, i would have to agree it is a nice clean example. This is my fifth mk2 golf but iam a syncro vigin!! lol I do have some plans and many questions, probably mostly ones that have already been asked! hahaha

    hi there everyone, thanks kevin cracking car, bombed home at 90 all the way and bottled it with the petrol and chucked a tenner in to get me home!! lol
