Cheers i’ll Look into adaptors. Mine is a UK spec golf 4 door, RHD Syncro. I keep meaning to do a build thread… i’l Get round to it eventually. It’s been on going for years, so just getting motivated to finish it now. It’s good to get chat with like minded folk – keeps the motivation high! I’m based near Reading.

Cheers Sam, Nothing too exciting, got a 2e bottom end from my old gti, recently rebuilt, with digifant setup, on an original TSR head & cam. Not mega quick but smooth. Got a Rallye box, cable link clutch, g60 front brakes. Planning on getting a manifold and downpipe built once the rear end is done. Where are you based? Basically I’m looking to build a syncro gti type thing. Those carriers look mint… if you change your mind?

Cheers Conor, I saw those and thought they looked like standard gti ones? Rallye mounting lugs are more offset I believe? Happy to be corrected…

Hi Sam, how is the build going? Curious to know what you did with the rear brakes? Did you keep the drums or convert to discs? If so which disc / calliper and carrier did you use? Cheers.

I’m after a set of rear calliper carriers to convert my mk2 syncro from drums to discs. I have most of the parts, apart from the calliper carriers. Does anybody have any kicking around? Or can point me in the right direction, thanks.
