AndyFParticipantCheers Conor, I saw those and thought they looked like standard gti ones? Rallye mounting lugs are more offset I believe? Happy to be corrected…

ModeratorThat is absolutely correct, both of the caliper carrier sets here on ebay are not Syncro ones but are for the 2wd cars
both sets are 2wd versions

Good idea. I just messaged them via there website – perhaps if as many of us contact them asking the same question this might increase our chances.

lloydyParticipantan option for the obsolete rallye rear disc splash guards. It is documented on a old post on the forum, but ill put it here with part numbers. Basically Golf mk4 4motion rear shields. You need to cut them away a bit until they fit. i cut the ‘bridge’ off but this can be left on with patient trimming.
parts numbers 1J0615612C 1J0615611C. very cheap from VW, expensive on ebay……Attachments:

ParticipantI am looking to do the upgrade to the rear with a 239×10 disk and the Mk4 calipers on my ’87 Mk2 Golf Syncro (LHD)
So my parts list is…
Disk x 2 – 811 615 301
Mk4 LH Caliper – 1H0 615 423B
Mk4 RH Caliper – 1H0 615 424B
LH Carrier – 191 615 425A
RH Carrier – 191 615 426
Splash Guards – 1J0 615 612C and 1J0 615 611CCan anyone confirm that all this lot will go together OK?
I have managed to find all the parts apart from the RH Carrier. Does anyone have any leads on these?
Cheers
Phil

ModeratorYou will need a flexible brake pipe adapter to run the Golf 4 calipers but its not difficult. everything else will bolt right up.
You will haveto ask lloydy what he did.January 7, 2020 at 8:38 am #23169fingle
ParticipantHeck, that is quite expensive, the other side is only €60.35 here in France..
I couldn’t find that one on ebay.de using the part number, did you find it using just text search and knowledge of German?
Cheers

ModeratorIf you can buy one for only €60.35 then buy it quick before someone else does.
I have had loads of these through my hands over the years both used & new & have never been able to see any difference between the two ‘sides’
yes the search term I use on eBay.de is BREMSSATTELHALTER SYNCRO -
