re2
ParticipantAfter spotting a poly gearbox mount I approached the vender to ask if they would be prepared to make a syncro version. Thet agreed and off I sent a new VAG syncro gearbox mount. He was already in development of a front and rear MK2 engine mount at the same time. As the Rallye and Syncro are the same fitment, these stronger stiffer engine mounts should give us all a break when it comes to exhaust clearances. The company also does pretty much all the bushes for a Mk2, and if these are successful, then he might expand the range further.
Ill post up more info when it arrives.

ParticipantIve received mine today and Ive sen that Richard is selling them on ebay too. Theres an auction and a seperate buy-it-now for £44.95 which is very comparable to new VAG prices.
Ive also been sent a rear mount and the front engine mount is imminent

Have a look in his other products as there is pretty much all the bushes for a 2wd car. If he gets a good response, then I dont see why he wont expand more into our requirements.

Participantvery good for the money,
the rear wishbone bush dosent accsept the sleve that locates the bush in the subframe, but it’s done a lot of hard miles since then and it seems ok, mk3’s don’t seem to have said sleive anyway.
