    is there any difference in the standard syncro gearbox mount to the rallye or country? I looked into this years ago but ive long since forgotten

    Yes the 90bhp & Country is 191 199 381A, while the Rallye/Passat G60 is 357 199 381C

    the rubber is probably harder in the G60 one

    i was also wondering that maybe its because it fits a cable change box which may be shaped differently

    same mounts fit cabel box, i has 1.3 gearbox and frount mount g60 rear engine mount works a treat

    so the rallye and syncro are the same mount dimensions then??
