At the front you can fit any Golf 2 2wd Shocker/spring assembly, its the rear thats the syncro only fitment.

I just checked at thr dealer & they were dropped without replacement in 2010 & there are non left anywhere in the world.

    P/N was 191 413 037A

However through the wonders of VW Syncro.co.uk we have someone who rebuild your original ones for you [:)]

    Thats a massive ripoff [:(]
From VW they were less than 300 euros (about 230 Quid) each when last available in 2010

I have found somewhere online who do a pair for €700 euros. I’ll have to double check with heritage if that’s for one or two.

Can anyone else make sense of this? I can get ONE Shock absorber from VW (rip off) Heritage Classic parts for £578, or I can have TWO shock absorbers for 700 Euros from Mecatechnic, who appear to get the shocks from…….wait for it…….VW Classic Parts?!?!?! Here’s the link…..
