factory alarm details.

I have been finding my way around my new syncro, The vehicle seems to have a factory fitted alarm. (two sensors by the windscreen and 1 VW key fob)
The key fob was found in the door pocket, i have sent for a battery and need to know what the buttons should do? (2 rubber squares and a switch on the side)
Also found a Barrel key switch under the steering colum, and ideas?

The car is running great with 43000 miles and 90% VW history.

The original dealer is making me some plates up and suppling tax disc holder and stickers, i feel i am starting to become obbsesive!

you are becoming obsessive! I have contacted the original dealer for my car (it has changed names now) to get the plates made
