vr6willParticipant
I also have a 3door G60 Syncro, it did come with aircon from the factory, but the previous owner removed the air con rad and pump, its something i’d like to put back in at some point.
vr6willParticipantyea, mk3 vr6 = plus axle
didn’t think it worked – keep us updated on this one!
vr6willParticipantis that mk2 wishbones with plus axle bottom ball joint?
vr6willParticipantweekend bump
vr6willParticipantstart of the week bump!
vr6willParticipantmine was behind the centre console, same place as the idle control relay on a 16v
vr6willParticipantsorry, now sold
vr6willParticipantdefinately enging out job. Having just done this, i cant imagine how i’d even start thinking about removing the transfer box with the engine still in.
vr6willParticipantnow available, includes rear inner cv joints,
vr6willParticipantI’ll be going with the engine/box out option, lol, all depends on the weather this weekend though i suppose.
vr6willParticipantHopefully to come off my car 3rd – 4th May
vr6willParticipantThe transfer box does need to be run with the corresponding rear diff, like you and chris both say.
Depends what and where you read, some people will say the vr6 syncro is stronger than rallye/g60 syncro, others wont. I understand it is stronger than what is found on lesser model syncros. I was happier running with vr6 syncro gear.
Im unsure of exact part numbers at the moment as all the bits are still on the car, when they are off i can tell you then.
vr6willParticipantPrices can be adjusted as per chris’ recommendations.
vr6willParticipantThe transfer box is CSR and rear diff is CSS
vr6willParticipantbump…
will be coming off the car very soon hopefully if anyone wants to see the bits working before they come off?
