How strange that VW should not mention that the bearings are the same part in ETKA and how odd of Chris not to make such useful information available to the wider community. He’s normally so keen to share such information.

Just make sure you’re buying good stuff like FAG or similar. There aren’t many suppliers who supply to spec rather than to price these days.

What the hell is that all about….! you can’t help some people. [:(!]

Have to correct you here mate, passat front bearings from 2wd 1974-1980 are 68mm also and are a direct replacement for syncro rear. I know this (thanks to Chris) as i have just bought and fitted them this very day [8D] (and £40 for both sides too…!)

Probably not the cleverest thing you have ever done to let people know on a public forum that you have broken several laws, Also not very responsible in my view [V]

    Hello all.

I’m Jason and i’m a noob so please break me in gently. I have a Corrado, formally a 16v’er but will be getting the 20v turbo treatment and Haldex 4wd.
I’m in the Cambridge area and fully willing to lend a hand if/when anyone needs (to the depth of my abilities anyway).
    ttfn.
