scruffydubberMemberI’ve written to the VW in Germany, and they have forwarded my letter to the VW museum, so hopefully we might get some info on how many where made.
scruffydubberMemberWhat do you want from the car?
That will help with your engine choice.Do you want outright power. Or best ££ per power. Or maybe something a bit different. Or do you want reliable power.
The Dubweiser car is actually a 5cyl audi 20v unit, and quattro running gear.
There is a build thread of a mk2 golf with the same setup, to give you an idea of the work that’s envolved

scruffydubberMemberHello Guys
I have started a register on my blog, to try and account for all the G60 syncro’s we know of.

If you have a syncro or know of one, please e-mail some details and a picture and i will update it.
Cheers
scruffydubberMemberSound very nice. Would like to see pics.
I’m up the road in FaringdonscruffydubberMemberYeah skoda VRS, or one from one of the 5speed haldex cars.
Was thinking about fitting a LSD to my Syncro box, and running it like this for a while. when money and time permits, I would like to upgrade to Haldex, but keep the same box.
scruffydubberMemberThanks Chris.
Got the part ok, cheers.
Going to be fitting it today
scruffydubberMemberWhats different? The way it bolts on?
Can the internals be swapped between the too?
So what type is used on a VRS box? I guess that one could bolt straight onto the rallye box.
Thanks for any info
scruffydubberMembernice car, Remember seeing it advertised, looked a good sleeper
scruffydubberMemberI’ve not had any luck finding the rear axle photo guide.
Can somebody point me in the right direction
scruffydubberMemberHas anyone got any links to these pictures?
scruffydubberMemberBugger, At least the problem is found.
I’ve sent you a message
Thanks again for all the help guys
scruffydubberMemberThe fluid is more like a sticky Gel, I’m guessing this is from the VC.
Here are some pics
scruffydubberMemberThanks for all the great info.
Just had a look under the car. Vaccum pipes are present and look ok.
I have noticed fluid around the VC. When touching the fluid it is more like very tacky gel. I’m guessing this is the VC fluid, and it isn’t repairable.
I’ll get a picture in few minutes when the cameras charged
scruffydubberMemberouch, I hope its not the VC.
I have checked the switch.
And the brown and white wires close on all forward gears.
So looks like I can eliminate that.
Although I would be very interested in seeing a diagram, to check out the rest of the circuit.I’ll check the vacuum lines next
Cheers
