Well sold my lupo, so keeping the Syncro
Now ordered Mk3 Golf Syncro handbrake cables to sort the handbrake out for MOT, fired it up after 10 standing and it ran nice after a few turns.
Fitted some MIM 1900’s with Eagle F1 tyres, now to sort insurance out and then MOT.
So happy it didn’t sell
Ronal SyncroMemberhere is the link to the thread with most info on my syncro

Ronal SyncroMemberHi
I’ve got standard seats and door cards, very good condition.
Might also have tailgate, and do have twin lamp grill

07754 845 933Ronal SyncroMemberI’ve gone with just coilover fronts, and stock rears, the handling is much better, and no suprises either
Ronal SyncroMemberFitted single lamp grill and chrome badge
Also towbar, mk3VR6 battery cosyAlso fitted weber carb…big difference in the power, can’t quite believe it really
And a recent picture
Ronal SyncroMemberHave now replaced lots of things at the front, and had it on two 200 mile trips which seem to have done the engine the world of good.
Also fitted a tow bar and rear gti bumper, and given it a clean and vacuum inside…
Also found centre caps bolts and put those on…
So seems to be running very well…and handles very well…Do have rear strut brace to fit and maybe a front upper brace too…
Also have weber carb, but have not fitted this yet, the same goes for GTi cam…
Ronal SyncroMemberIt seems more hell than heaven for you right now, you seem to have some great knowledge and skills though…
Ronal SyncroMemberWhat camber do you have on the fronts???
Ronal SyncroMemberI got the same one housey, but knew i was only puttign the fronts on, and to be fair, i’m happy, much stiffer, and not too out of sync with the standard rears…it’ll do me for now, till i get some £500 jobs
