ParticipantOver four years later and I popped back in to read my old build thread. I still have this car, although it is not being driven at the moment.
I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of it. I have loads of new parts to fit, wishbones, shocks, a brake caliper, propshaft bearings etc!

Participantfurther update, the issue seems to be with posts that have images in them. When I post without trying to embed an image then it posts fine, with an embedded image it wont show the post. I posted an update to my thread in members cars and it showed fine. However when I edited it and added the image it has deleted the post!

ParticipantVery cool, so that would be have been made for a rally prepared golf rallye? I wonder how different it is inside? Could the diff have limited slip?

ParticipantThat should make for a very noticeable improvement!

ParticipantGood work, seems like it was a good thing you stripped it all down. Would the most cost effective not be to get the subframe blasted, weld up where needed, primer/satin black and pump the water trap areas full of cavity wax?

ParticipantId take 180 euro for the manifold and downpipe, that is what they are standing me. If you are interested I can get some photos at the weekend.

ParticipantWow great work! By the way if you decide on a g60 exhaust then I think I have a G60 syncro cast manifold and downpipe in my garage somewhere

ParticipantVery nice, something I’d love to do with my own car

ParticipantGreat progress, thanks for posting info about the e30 prop carrier bearing. I need to replace both the front and back ones on my Jetta syncro. Did someone weld custom mounts onto your chassis to attach the different bearing bracket to?

ParticipantNice Country, look forward to seeing the progress. I saw this on facebook , you have a T25 Syncro too yes?
