MemberHi, I’m after a new front prop bearing as the rubber on mine has completely split. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

ModeratorThey are available from VW

Nr 14 is p/n 191521349
Nr 15 is p/n 191521350
I have them listed on my computer at 120 ish euros each, but they will cost more at the Dutch VW dealer.
btw, while you have your propshaft dismantled you may want to fit the heatshield P/N 191 521 443 (nr 7 on the drawing) they reduce the heat getting to your front propshaft rubbers & are really needed if you are increasing your power.
They are available only from me & are no longer available from VW or from VW Classic parts, I bought the very last 10 of them from VW Classic parts last year, they are available from me for 15 eu each, inclusive p&p to the UK
btw, when these are gone they are gone, there are no more anywhere in the world! which is why I bought them, for our members use

MemberI phoned vw last week and they told me that they are discontinued and there is none left in the country. I have also spoke to vw classic and they can’t get hold of any either.

ModeratorP/N 191521349 (nr 14 on drawing) is available from the dealer & costs 155.76 eu,
it must however come from Germany as the Dutch importer does not have 1 on stock, but I can order it if you wish?August 31, 2011 at 8:14 am #8645Golfrallye86
MemberHow much do you want for the one you have and a heat shield delivered to the uk?
August 31, 2011 at 11:19 am #8646Chris S
ModeratorFor the used one?
How about 25 eu for the used bearing + 15 eu postage (as the bearing is a lot heavier than the heatshield) + 15 for the heatshield,
Thats 55 euros in total, btw that also includes paypal fees. I have emailed you with the paypal adress.August 31, 2011 at 9:39 pm #8647Trev16v
MemberI have made a mental note to check if my propshaft has the heatshield. Presumably it should do.

ModeratorOnly the Rallye & Passat G60 Syncro have the heatshield as standard.

Participantas i’ve previously said, the heatshield not only works as a heatshield, but it also keeps crap from filling up the xzn bolt-heads on the joint
