T4 Syncro or T5 4motion

I am looking at getting a T4 Syncro (ideally a multivan, or a caravelle). I generally like the T4 better than the T5, it seems more solid to me. I had a T4 for 11 years, and my brother has had a T5 for about the same period.
Anyway, looking on mobile.de I noticed that the T5 4motion’s seem to be a fair bit cheaper than the T4 Syncro’s is that because the T5 is not as good as the T4, or is it to do with the 4motion system? is the Syncro a better system than 4 motion?

i think its more to do with T4’s getting more desirable as they get older. Personally i think a T4 syncro 2.5tdi late model, is the best you’ll get. cant see T5’s lasting 20-30 years.
of course im bias, but i think a T3 16″ syncro multivan is the pinnicle 😀
