Nurburgring – what really happened?

Ok the more observant of you might have noticed it’s been a bit quiet recently, especially from a couple of our prolific posters, ChrisS and Diamond Hell + DannyP.

Well as you may or may not know they arranged to go to The ‘Ring together and it didn’t go well. Various (imo) planning oversights and some unfortunate coincidences meant a bit of a stand-off and some quite upset folks.

Unfortunately both parties feel they’ve been wronged so it’s unlikely we’re looking at a peaceful solution (see Israel vs Palestine).

This is a real shame for the syncro site because both Chris S and DH/danny have made a lot of contributions and both have helped countless number of people.

I basically thought I should post and say something in case any of you were waiting for responses from anyone involved and wondering howcome the sudden comms breakdown.

Well, I intend to protest by giving out the most absolute rubbish info on here as possible. Fill up your viscous couplings with brake fluid… it works!

Given the nature of the fluid that is suggested, it may help your car to stop rather than go!
