MK2 subframe install in a MK1.

I did a search for installing a mk2 subframe in an a1 with no luck. Does anyone have a link that shows this happening. I have a good Idea where to cut but I would like to see it first.

didn’t nutter 4×4 post pics about fitting the subframe to a mk1 a while back? I thin kthey were talking cabbys specifically but I guess it’s the same engine bay?

Yes, when LD50 & I were at the house last year, showed us the foto log of this conversion

I did have boys unfortunately I lost the lot on the old pc when crashed and died, but if you search for mk3 subframe in mk1 on vwcaddy.com, you should find plenty of pics there
