    Hello and merry christmas, I have a quick query which someone might be able to help with please. I have a golf rallye diff which has had the vacuum system removed and a plate bolted over. Would anyone know why this might have been done and if it can cause any damage – eg when reversing the car.

    You will only have 2wd in reverse.
