ETKA is confusing to which springs go on what and there are several choices and conflicting notes on part numbers too. Ideally Id like a set from a Country, but id take a set of syncro rear springs too at the mo
im kinda up poo street needing these springs. The only ones I can find are listed on ebay.co.uk but cross-referencing they look like they are mislisted and actually replace standard 2wd rear springs
even if im only borrowing, I desperately need a set as the Country is a daily driver
you do know that they are sold via vwclassicparts right?
a friend of mine bought all 4 new springs from vwclassic for his country

cheers Housey. I cant afford £200+ for springs at the mo. The codes P and Q were used for the Country rears. The Q being a bit more heavy duty. Mine are P codes with the one green mark (I cant see what my fronts are as they have been sprayed over)
Ta
On my mk2 I used springs from a 1994 passat estate which are heavy duty and will raise a little bit even after cutting them down. They can take more weight and are ideal for towing. I picked them up from a scrappy for £10!
I have Passat rear springs on mine.
What models please. I’m still making do with borrowed h&r rear springs from I believe a 2we
The one on the right.
