    thinking of buying a converted 1.9 tdi 4×4 country 1990 otherwise standerd what kind of price is it worth the car is quite clean cheers

    Depends on the quality of conversion and what you want to pay. I’d say less value than a standard one. You need to find out if the gearbox has been modified for the diesel engine. Or has a Mk3 diesel syncro box been used.

    been done propely with diesel gears and bolted diff not riveted

    The syncro has diesel gears already but the final drive and crown wheel would need to be swapped over from a diesel box. 4T has 90mm cups and is taller than the 4S that has 100mm cups
