MemberMr Hungry Horse. Good to see you have one now: there is only one brochure for your Chrome & it lists all your features. 205s were standard for the Chrom version so you are correct there & it should not be on 195/65s. Ditto what Dave (Re2) said re the lights: did a photoshop with mine & it did look very odd! Black or magnolia leather? Careful re putting a closure alarm on & fitting to the rag-top: they are a known weak point (the elec motors) so leave well alone. Oh mine was the minter on ebay a few months ago!

MemberI have a copy of the German Chrom brochure.
I have just received some info from VWUK Press Office. They have sent some copies of some press releases about the availability of the Golf Country in the UK. They seem to infer that you could have ordered one for delivery in the UK, but I only know of one possible Country registered as new in UK, although I am still awaiting confirmation from the owner.
They also sent a copy of the English brochure you have Dave (re2) although it is a black and white scan and is next to useless! They also talked about some photos, so I’ll chase them up as well as a decent colour copy of the brochure.
Has anyone got the ‘Additional Supplementary Handbook’ for the Chrom version? The one that is a supplement to the Golf Country supplement?

MemberLooks like I’ve neglected this post for a while.
Although I fitted an alarm (Toad) I didn’t add the roof closure as I don’t use the roof because it is difficult to get it to close properly using the electric motors. I have to turn the nut with a socket to close it up and even then it doesn’t close properly and I’m frightened of breaking the gears!!!!
I think the vehicle would have been better fitted with a tilt/slide sunroof, but then the German gentry wouldn’t have been able to shoot out the top[
