You mention putting the ABS unit under the seat. I thought they were mounted in the boot on the back panel! Or is that the 2WD versions?
Its when you are using the Passat Syncro ABS/EDL master cylinder & wiring loom, or you could extend all the cables and fit the computer in its original place in the back panel.
well, i did forget my cam at home tiday, thats a pitty, got a bunch of thinge done today
finally got the engine into the car so, a whole lot of small things to be done in my near future
but, its finally coming along

well, havn’t been many picture updates for a while, but, heres a few pics. rather boring tho, but the engine is atleast IN now
this is where i started today
and this is where its at now, when i left the garage today, looks just the same
been doing some boring things like bolting the engine down, started to change some balljoints and small things like that
and damn that abs unit makes things tight
The intercooler i had pascal buy for me came today it looks good..
does anyone have pictures of the bracketry that holds the top/sidemounted intercooler setup on the G60 golf with Aircondition?

That shows all the brackets fitted []
so thats how its fitted, damn, that looked like a hard bracket to replicate well, some flat 2mm steel might work aswell
well, its getting somewhere now.. have to manipulate some of the wiring, shorten it a few places, and lengthen it at some other places
DAMN i just broke the vakuum unit on the rear of the speedometer

How broken? cos its a special one for the G-lader motor, I hope you saved the speedo from the Passat as it has the same vacuum sensor,
btw these are no longer available from VW and used to cost over 150 eu when they were last listed. [xx(]
its way broken no possible way to fix either, glue wont stick to it
i got the passat speedo. and a Corrado G60 speedo, so those might work
Its only the vacuum sender that you need to change, as all G-lader motors have a similar 1 bar version.
