Sometimes you just need more length….
Stock MK2 bolts only had about 2-3 threads engagement due to the spacer I used. So had to track down some longer ones of the same thread pitch. Only ones I could find were off a MK4, but they were 3mm too long. Picked up a set of 4 from VW for £4 chopped off 3mm and hey presto!
