A few years ago I brought my brother a great syncro from somerset, unfortuneately he doesn’t want it any more and the mot has lapsed. I have too many cars/projects to take it on.
So thought I’d offer it up on here, if nobody is interested then it’ll be off to the local scrappy.
I love syncros and really don’t want it scrapped.
hope someone can save it.
he is open to offers for it. this is his description, the car is in Scotland now, but could be a-framed locally to him:-F Reg Golf Syncro
When taken off the road, it had very little rust. I can inspect the rust on request and report back.
Standard Golf steel wheels (v rusty with no tread on tyres – only good for the skip)
Parcel shelf complete with no speaker holes
Uprated suspension (stronger and stiffer)
Towbar.
mileage? no idea – I’ll have to check.
Off-side rear door handle broken
Off-side footwells damp due to door being left open last month during a heavy rainstorm
Taken off the road because of carburetter problems and the accelerator cable kept jumping off the pedal. (replacement bush available)Hey there Mike.

If no-one wants it from here then he would put it on ebay with a starting price £150 and see what it gets… so really open to offers around that.
