In this item broadcast on BBC 1 on 21-12-2008 there was a short clip shown of a race held at the (unfortunately) now defunct Crystal palace curcuit

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kDAK4jBKmowI dont know, perhaps I am getting old but the racing portrayed in the links seens to me to be far more exiting than the current ‘traffic jam’ style of touring car racing that exists today.
BTW For men of a certain age (& I know from personal experience that you are on here)these clips contain two legendary heroes in
Dealer Team Vauxhall (DTV)Driver Gerry Marshall & retired Formula 1 commentator Murray Walker.
