NEW polyurethane mk2 rallye/syncro engine mounts

After spotting a poly gearbox mount I approached the vender to ask if they would be prepared to make a syncro version. Thet agreed and off I sent a new VAG syncro gearbox mount. He was already in development of a front and rear MK2 engine mount at the same time. As the Rallye and Syncro are the same fitment, these stronger stiffer engine mounts should give us all a break when it comes to exhaust clearances. The company also does pretty much all the bushes for a Mk2, and if these are successful, then he might expand the range further.

Ill post up more info when it arrives.

Great find , more details please. I’m going to be doing an engine swap for a GTi engineering re2000 lump and do the mounts at the same time.

firstly, have you got the correct block that accomadates the transfer box mountings?
