Trying to identify some drive shafts I have acquired.

Theyre bolted to a syncro gearbox(unfortunately its about 20miles away and I never got the code off it but its not an ARM box as fitted to my standard mk2 golf syncro. On my own Syncro the front rhs drive shaft is solid and is as thin as a pencil and has a rubber damper of some description wrapped around halfway along it.

The drivehafts and box I’ve just got has a fatter tubular type rhs shaft similar to a rallye one but its bolted to a rod change syncro box. Can someone tell me if they fitted fat shafts to the country and is the tubed bit interchangeable with a rallye?
    Thanks
