ModeratorNo I am not,
Compared to the normal 2wd Golf2 Market, the G2 Syncro market is is a very specialised niche market when you are looking for Syncro only parts,
the G2 Country market is a niche within a niche, so is even more difficult to find the correct parts for.

Participantthat’s something I have learnt very fast. In the short time I have owned my country.
Thankfully though engineering has moved on, I have spoken to a couple of companies that manufacture springs, if I send my old springs they can reproduce and guarantee their work for a fraction of the price of NOS and dealer parts.
I think I will go this route, remanufactured springs, Bilstien shocks and factory mounting rubbers.
My next job is full stainless exhaust including manifold. After that it is suspension so I will take lots of pics and post also give my thoughts on the final ride qualityApril 19, 2015 at 6:36 pm #10893northwestalloy1
