Hi all, the drums on my 1990 Golf Country are getting pretty worn out now to the point where getting the right adjustment is proving difficult. Is it possible to get these re-lined (?) with new steel or is it a case of getting completely new drums? Has anyone had experience with this? I know that it is possible to do a disc conversion which would certainly be practical but it isnt a route I would want to go down. I believe that the drums are larger than standard VW Golf 2 so it isnt possible to do a like for like. Any idea where to get spares. I havent seen any on Deutche eBay yet. Thanks. Colin

If you want to sell them? they might be a good buy for Colin

I am trying to find the original receipt for my first Syncro, its dated somewhere in summer 2002, so thats 10 years I have been messing about with them!
when I find it I will post it on here.

the drums will be no use to me when i fit the discs so yep they can be sold. I doubt they would even have had any use other than a handbrake from time to time too
