ParticipantHi all,
Can anyone tell me where to look for turn signal cables 15, 31, 49a, 49R, 49L?
I am having my mechanic to install convenient turn signal kit, 000-998-229 on my Golf now and we do not know where to look.
Help please!!!
Many thanks.

ParticipantHi Chris,
No no, I meant to put this post on a wrong board, but I still need the diagram!
By installing this your Mk2 G or J would also have the same feature that recent generations of VW cars would have, just by flicking the turn signal lever for overtaking the car would flash its turn signal 3 times, instead of you hold it for how long ever you want the car to flash, or totally engaging the turn signal switch and disengage when overtaking is done.
See what I meant?
With this your car would also have what the 21st century cars have!!
I know this is a little gadgets, but I wanted it.

MemberHere’s the pinout as seen on the back of the Central Electric II Relay/fuse box

Connections:
31 Brown = H1 pin6
15 Black/White = H1 pin5
49A White/Green = H2 pin8
49R Green = H2 pin4
49L White = H2 pin6Guess this is the Comfort-turn signal relay?

ParticipantHi,
It has been over 7months since the information was given, and today I had my mechanic install the kit, but he said the fuse block is not the one that Padrig has showed me.
Can anyone help on how one could get a hold of a vehicle specific wiring diagram please?
