1989 Golf Syncro 1.8 LHD
Big bumpers
210 000 Km’s (130 000 miles)
3 Owners, originally Italian, currently French registered.
Really nice original condition.
Alpine tape player with a sub under the seat (circa 1989)
ABS brakesI brought it of a French ski instructor because it had failed its Control Téchnique (MOT)
It needed a few fuses and bulbs, a new brake pipe to the rear and the handbrake was not working properly because the drums were to far worn.
I decided to do a rear disc brake conversion instead of new drums and shoes.
So its got VW Lupo GTI rear brake calipers on Passat Syncro carriers and Golf 1.0 front drilled discs. I still have all the parts that came off the original car.
New drilled front discs and pads.

Very nice looking car. Are the bumpers and grille original or were they added later?
Any chance of some pictures of the interior?
Not sure about the bumpers. I’ll get some interior photos up in the next couple of days.
