I am still looking for this weld in brace….I am in need of this quite badly…..
Well unlike everyone else who actually lives in Europe. I was born in the United States. My buddy and I loved MK2 golfs. We experimented with 7 different suspension types in his mk2. We finally decided that we liked the Passat suspension on Bilstein shocks. This gives a stock mk2 about 6″ lift. Once that was accomplished we found the biggest tires we could stuff under the car without cutting giant pieces of the car off. Meanwhile all this was going on it was brought to our attention that mk2 golfs were built as 4wd stock, after spending 3 years researching syncro we decided to make a purchase, and October of last year we officially owned 2 syncro drive trains. Now after having purchased the drive train there was much more to learn, like we didnt have the wiring or the brace that the rear diff bolts up to. We are actually looking for many parts to complete our project. If anyone has any bits lying around frrl free to contact me.
Cheers,
Ben
